Join us: https://lnkd.in/eR5tJE5W. Have you ever considered that each of our avocations is an opportunity to introduce those following us to the Gospel of Jesus Christ?
I am a golfer. It is one of the ways I relax and enjoy time with friends. It is also a discipleship tool that I use to invest in others. Golf provides me regular opportunities to have conversations about life and faith with people who may not otherwise ever consider those things. On the golf course, there are no pretenses; we are all there to have a good time. That relaxed atmosphere provides an excellent opportunity to build relationships and share the love of Christ. One of the ways I disciple others through golf is by inviting them to join me for Discipleship meetings that we conduct online and on the course. It is a great way to connect with other golfers who are being convicted that they should develop a closer walk with God. These discipleship meetings provide an excellent opportunity to study the Bible together and pray for one another. If you are a golfer, I encourage you to consider how you can use your time on the course to introduce others to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a great way to build relationships and disciple others in their faith. Thanks for reading! Please join me for our next Discipleship meeting online or on the phone by emailing me at [email protected] or calling 774-212-2265. |
